Also, some airlines do not accept sedative pets. So, it is recommended not to give sedatives to pets during travel. Nervous pets, though become frightened and furious initially when kept in a carrier in a quiet dark place, later calm down gradually and go to sleep. Better to prepare your pet for travel instead of giving sedatives keeping its health in risk.
