How to clean an aquarium of fish at home?

Most people enjoy and love to keep beautiful little fishes in their homes as pets because it adds beauty to their homes and the  maintenance of fish pet is also low. The fishes are kept in a smaller glass bowls which should have enough lighting facility, plenty of water and food requirements. If the glass bowl is larger, the container is known as an aquarium. This aquarium needs regular cleaning and maintenance, or the fishes in the aquarium might die or can get affected by the bacterial diseases. Thus, it is necessary to clean your fish aquarium at-least once a week or alternate weeks based on the size of the aquarium to keep your fishes health in a good condition.

Before starting, change the fishes from the aquarium to the small bucket having fresh water. Using algae scrapers, remove the algae which is formed in the aquarium glass without removing water. These scrapers are available at the pet stores. If you are unable to remove some stains in the aquarium, use the razor blade to scrape it off.

Then, remove all the artificial plants and rocks, and other items outside the aquarium that have algae formed on it. Scrub with the algae scrapers for removing algae on it and then soak it in bleach solution for extra cleaning. And then rinse these artificial items with plain water and let them dry.

Clean the gravel of the aquarium by using a siphon to vacuum the fish waste, excess food and other debris. Then replace the filters based on the number of days you used.

Once you clean the interior of the aquarium, clean the top of the tank and outsid glass with the vinegar solution, which are safe for the fishes.

Keep all the artificial items inside the aquarium and pour water according to the level of the aquarium. Then return the fishes to the aquarium. Like this if you clean your aquarium, your fishes will not have any skin problems.
