How To Wash Bed Sheets?

Many people rest on a bed to refresh. It is necessary that your bed is very clean otherwise you won't have a good sleep or good nap during the night or afternoon nap. As we all know that a good sleep will always give energy to the persons. Sometimes bed sheets often become yellowish because the fabric absorbs sweat or oil's released by the body.

Make sure that your bed sheets have been properly washed to make them maximize comfort, soft, fresh and cleanliness by following below steps.

Before you wash any bed sheets, check the label whether it needs any special considerations while washing. You can wash on your own at your home. However, most of the bed sheets do not require special wash but some fabrics need special washes.

Then, find out the affected areas on the bed sheets and apply a vinegar and water solution. This is called as a pre-treatment given to the bed sheet.

Load these bed sheets in the wash machine by adding a quality detergent powder with the use setting hottest water mode. This would clean and kill the germs or dust mites present in the bed sheet. Never set at too hot mode water setting because the bad sheets may shrink or fade. Like this wash at least once in two weeks. Before putting into the machine, separate the light and dark colored sheets because they may bleed into each other.

Dry the bed sheets by hanging them outside. Sunshine is a natural disinfectant and helps brighten whites.
