Advantages of Using Front Loading Washing Machines

They clean clothes by lifting them to the top of the tub and dropping them back into the water. They work best with low foaming, high efficiency detergent. These washing machines have no agitator to move the clothes through the water. Front-loading machines have a large drum on a horizontal axis, much like a standard dryer

Following are the advantages of the front loading washing machines:

High Efficiency:
This type of washing machines consumes less electricity than other types because there is no need for spinning an agitator to scrub the clothes clean. Front loader also uses less water, this saves the electricity needed to heat the water. The spinning action that front loaders use will squeeze more water out of the clothes, hence less time is spent in the dryer and saves the electricity bills.

Uses Less Water:
Front loading washing machines spin the clothes around in a circle, so only the bottom part of that circle needs to have water in it and this is the reason front loading washers use much less water for every load than other types.

Gentler on Clothes:
Front loading washing machines tumble clothes through a pool of water and detergent, the tumbling in a front loader does far less damage, it saves clothing form wear and tear, extends the life of clothing.

Better Space Usage:
Front loading washing machines can also fit into places where a top loader cannot, like underneath counters or even stacked with a dryer on top of them.

Larger Loads:
Central agitator is absent in the front loaders which provides more room for clothes, allows to get more laundry done in the same amount of time. It is easier to wash large items, like comforters, in a front loader as there is no need to wring them around a central agitator.

The above are the various advantages of front loading washing machines.
